This year, the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association held recorded auditions for District, Region, and State placements, but the in-person festivals and concerts were unable to happen. To help celebrate the members of the District 11 Chorus and give the students an opportunity to "sing together," Council Rock South High School Director Corey Axler put together a virtual version of their audition piece, How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place from Johannes Brahms' Requiem.
PWHS seniors Katie Smith and Aaron Rueter took part in the recording. Click here for the video.

In honor of March being Music In Our Schools Month, select students from ten area schools also came together virtually to perform Deanna Witkowski and Lemuel Colon's We Walk In Love from the newly-created Justice Choir Songbook.
Three members of PWHS Chorus participated, including seniors Miguel Zarzoso and Madelyn McClure and ninth grader Leena Krayyem. Click here for the video.
The piece debuted on the Facebook Page of the Council for the Advancement of Public Schools, which promotes the success of public schools in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
