Colonial Schools Cancels After-School Activities As Ida Moves In

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA— After-school athletics and student activities are canceled at all Colonial School District buildings Wednesday, September 1 as the remnants of Hurricane Ida chug across Pennsylvania.

The district says students will be dismissed as normal Wednesday.

Forecasters warn as much as 6 inches of rain could fall in Eastern Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey. A flash flood watch is in place in Montgomery County and across the region.

The storm is expected to move through by Thursday afternoon.
