Conshohocken Woman Charged with DUI, Drug Possession
Struck a pole before driving away on flat tire.

Plymouth Police have charged a 19-year-old Conshohocken woman with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, reckless driving, and related offenses after she crashed her vehicle the morning of Sunday, July 24.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, police responded to the area of Butler Pike and North Lane at 5 a.m. that morning, after a resident reported that a silver Chevrolet had crashed into a pole and then driven into a nearby Wawa on a flat tire.
The witness told police he saw the driver, later identified as Justine Brody, of the 300 block of East 8th Avenue, Conshohocken, unsteadily get out to check on the vehicle before slowly driving south on Butler Pike.
A responding officer located the vehicle as it made a left onto North Lane and activated his lights and sirens. However, the vehicle continued to drive slowly into the Selden Car Dealership, and started to approach parked cars in the lot.
At that point, the officer walked up to the vehicle, opened the door, and ordered Brody to park the vehicle, according to the report. Upon removing Brody from the car, police said that she was unable to safely stand to perform a field sobriety test, had "pinpoint pupils," slurred speech, and glassy eyes.
The defendant twice refused to take a test to determine her blood alcohol content, although she later admitted to driving impaired, the report said. Upon a search of her vehicle, police also found a plastic bag containing what they suspected to be marijuana and three pills not contained in a prescription bottle.
Police then charged Brody with DUI, accidents involving damage, reckless driving, and possession of a controlled substance.
