Continuing Care Retirement Community The Hill at Whitemarsh Promotes Peter Fleming to Chief Operating Officer

PHILADELPHIA, November 6, 2015 – The Hill at Whitemarsh, Philadelphia’s leading continuing care retirement community (www.TheHillatWhitemarsh.org), has promoted Peter Fleming to Chief Operating Officer. Fleming joined The Hill at Whitemarsh as Chief Financial Officer in 2006. In his new position, he will work closely with Executive Management and the Board of Trustees to pursue goals set out in the community’s strategic plan.

Fleming has been a part of The Hill at Whitemarsh’s leadership since the planning and development stage. Fleming has been responsible for finance, human resources, information systems, investor relations, risk management and compliance.

During his time as CFO, the non-profit organization successfully refinanced its long term debt, achieved a five-star rating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and received the prestigious CARF International accreditation. The survey team said the CCRC had “distinguished itself as one that strives for excellence through pursuit of continuous quality improvement and stakeholder engagement.”

Fleming previously served as the President of Cresheim Creek Capital, a greater Philadelphia financial consulting/investment firm, and as Managing Director of Wm Sword & Co., a Princeton, NJ-based investment banking firm.

Fleming received his BA in Economics from Brown University and his Masters of Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
