Endangered Sea Turtles Author Visit

Meet Colonial Middle schooler, Leah Schick, and her turtle, Akuti. Leah recently wrote and published a book, Akuti, a story about sea turtles and those who help to protect and save them. She will be sharing her knowledge and experiences with sea turtles with the community on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 1 pm. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing. Proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Turtle Hospital in Marathon, Florida, and conservation programs that help protect our oceans. The event is recommended for
students in grades 3+, teens and adults. No registration is necessary.
