Science in the Summer (SIS) is a hands-on workshop sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline so it is free. It is offered at most libraries in Montgomery County but on different days. The theme for everyone is Simple Machines. Participation is limited, so advance sign up is required. Our library uses a lottery system to choose the participants. Children entering grades 2-6 in the fall are eligible. Here is the specific information about SIS at William Jeanes. For those of you familiar with the program, note that we’re trying a 2-day rather than a 4-day class.
Sign up for the lottery will be April 16-April 29. Winners of the lottery will be called by May 2.
