Fall 2012 College Grads and Honorees

A list of area residents making the most of higher education.

Graduates

Millersville University:

  • Mark Andrew Costello, of Conshohocken, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Industry and Technology.
  • Christopher Jackson, of Conshohocken, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Widener University Law:

Christopher Heleniak, of Conshohocken, was sworn in as a member of the Pennsylvania bar during a December ceremony. Heleniak was one of 18 Widener Law grads who were sworn in at Philadelphia's City Hall, in a ceremony presided over by several esteemed judges.

Dean's List/Honors:

Gwynedd-Mercy College: Annamarie Scannapieco, of Conshohocken, was named to the Dean's List for the fall semester.

Widener University: David Woodward, of Conshohocken, was named to the Dean's List for the fall semester by achieving a GPA of 3.5 or greater. Woodward is studying hospitality management.

MCCC Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society inductees: Taylor Rokosz, of Conshohocken; Ala Brown, Barbara Disanto, Briana Granese, Manuel Rivera, Rachel Ronan, and Christina Taormina, of Plymouth Meeting; and Daria Shafie, of Lafayette Hill.

University of Delaware: Jessica Friedman, of Lafayette Hill, was recognized at an Honors Ceremony for students earning 18 or more honors credits during their first two years at the university, while maintaining a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Friedman was congratulated on stage by a college dean.
