On January 6th, 2012 the Blue Ribbon Commission formed by the Archdicese of Philadelphia announced the closing of the Epiphany of our Lord School due to the low enrollment of 174 Students. Instead, the same building will now be the home of the newly formed Holy Rosary Regional Catholic School. Based on the determination of the Blue Ribbon Commission, students from Epiphany of our Lord, Our Lady of Victory in Norristown and St. Titus in East Norriton, will comprise the new school with a projected enrollment of 455 students.1 As a result of their appeal, students from Conshohocken Catholic are also welcome to enroll in Holy Rosary.
To honor the long standing tradition of the Epiphany of our Lord School and Staff, a FAREWELL MASS and ASSEMBLY will be held on Friday June 1st. ALL current and former Students, current and former Parents, current and former Priests, Parishioners and Staff are welcome and encouraged to attend. Slideshow, Music and Memories will be the cornerstone of the afternoon assembly which will focus on our dedicated Staff, some having been with EOL for 27 years. Of special note, after 47 years of teaching, Miss Helen Miller will be retiring. Her dedication and enrapturing style of teaching has influenced countless students through the years, many of whom will be attending to say their goodbyes and offer their thanks.
