Person Of Interest Detained In Whitemarsh Homicide: DA
"No immediate concern for public safety exists at this time," authorities said.

UPDATE, 2 p.m.: Lawrence Maurice Crawley, 33, of Philadelphia has been arrested for the murder of 33-year-old Angela Stith. She was found stabbed to death and run over in a Whitemarsh Township office park on Friday morning. The suspect, Stith's ex-boyfriend, fled the scene and was tracked down by police later on Friday, at which point he set himself on fire. Click here to read the full update.

Montgomery County authorities have detained a person of interest in connection with Friday morning's homicide in Whitemarsh Township. "No immediate concern for public safety exists at this time," a joint statement from the Montgomery County District Attorney and Whitemarsh Township Police said.

According to authorities, a woman was found stabbed to death outside of Vector Security on Campus Drive at 2:30 a.m.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released. It is not clear if the victim or the person of interest are affiliated with the business in any way.

Montgomery County detectives and Whitemarsh Township Police are conducting a joint investigation.
