Field Hockey: Germantown Academy Falls to Archbishop Carroll
Lady Patriots defeated in tight 5-3 contest.

The Germantown Academy field hockey team (0-1) dropped their season opener Wednesday, falling to Archbishop Carroll by a 5-3 score at home. That was despite strong play from goalie Ashley Piszek, who made 23 saves in the game, compared to the seven made by Archbishop's Becca Brosius.
Offensively, the Lady Patriots were led by Catherine Perlmutter, who tallied two goals in the contest. Megan McGinnis rounded out the scoring for GA, while Megan Kelly and Katie Kelly each tallied an assist. ABC's Marybeth Keith lead her team with two goals.
Germantown Academy will next take to the field Friday, when they play Princeton Day.
