Update: Flood Warning for Schuylkill River
The forecast calls for two or more inches of rain.

Update: The National Weather Services released the following statement calling for a flood warning along areas of the Schuylkill River.
"At 10:01 a.m., Wednesday, the stage was 10.4 feet. Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is expected to rise to near flood stage this afternoon," the release states.
According to the service, at 11 feet Kelly drive is flooded and closed between Hunting Park Avenue and falls bridge.

"Impacts from flooding will include ... small stream, poor drainage, urban area, basement, and roadway flooding," the advisory read. "The larger rivers should be able to take the excessive rainfall amounts but they may run high and a few may possibly approach flood stage."
The forecast calls for a 90 to 100 percent chance of rain overnight, including possible thunderstorms between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m., with a low of 51. On Wednesday, showers should continue into the evening with 7 mph to 14 mph winds; the high is expected to be 61.

Total rainfall could exceed two to two and a half inches.
