Flourtown Road To Close In Whitemarsh Township
Traffic will be affected as detours will impact the surrounding area.
WHITEMARSH, PA -- Aqua Pennsylvania is schedule to close Flourtown Road between Thomas Road
and Joshua Road in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, beginning Monday, February 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Wednesday.
The weekday closure will be in effect through the end of June.
During construction, Flourtown Road through traffic will be detoured over Thomas Road and Stenton Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The construction schedule is contingent on the weather.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
