GA Basketball Star Moore Commits to Penn State
6'9" center to play for Nittany Lions following senior season.
Germantown Academy's Julian Moore announced Friday that he will be taking his basketball talents to State College, according to a report from Scout.com.
The 6-foot-9-inch , 215-pound center decided to become a Nittany Lion after visiting the campus and attending a prospect camp.
"When I took a visit and attended [the camp], I loved not only the school and facilities, but the coaches and the players on the team," Scout quoted Moore as saying.
According to The Times Herald, Moore averaged 11.2 points per game last season for the Patriots. Moore, a rising senior, will look to improve that record as he leads a squad of four returning starters.
