GA Sports: Girls XC Wins Tri-Meet with Baldwin, Notre Dame

Place five finishers in top ten.

The Germantown Academy girls cross country team got a double taste of victory Monday, upending Notre Dame Academy and the Baldwin School in a tri-meet in Fort Washington.

The Lady Patriots were led by Paige Kupsky, who broke her own week-old course record by 20 seconds with a time of 20:06. Her teammates finished strong as well, with Lady Pats Anna Hallahan (4th, 21:25), Kelsie Hermance (7th, 21:45), Alyssa Bunim (8th, 21:56) and Elevenlyn Rakowsky (9th, 22:01) all placing in the top ten.

The strong team performance led to comfortable victories of 25-32 over Notre Dame and 19-42 over Baldwin.
