GA Sports: Lady LAX edges Springside, 17-15

Lady Patriots spread scoring around in league victory.

The Germantown Academy girls lacrosse team (7-3, 3-1) has been on the wrong end of some close games recently, with their three April loses coming in the form of , , and defeats.

However, the Lady Patriots took the first step in balancing that ledger Monday, when they defeated The Springside School 17-15.

Once again, GA was led by standout midfielder Brooke Kiley, who has led the Lady Pats in scoring every game, this time netting five. Kiley also tied for a team high three assists in the contest.

However, five of Kiley's teammates also racked up multiple goals. Cooper Hall netted three, while Caroline Hayine, Kelli Stack, Allie Cannon, and Hanna Bogorowski scored two each. Hadley Hall also chipped in with one.

Stack picked up three assists, while Haynie and Hadley Hall each had one.

Germantown Academy goalie Allie Carrigan did her part by recording 15 saves, while Springside was led by Libbie Maine's five goals.

The team next travels to The Hill School for a 4:30 matchup on Thursday.
