Hit And Run Leaves 1 Dead In Whitemarsh Township: Police
One person was taken into custody hours after the incident, according to a report.
WHITEMARSH TOWNSHIP, PA — One person is dead and another arrested following a hit and run in Whitemarsh Township, according to police and media sources.
The incident occurred on Friday, Nov. 8 on West Valley Green Road just after 3 p.m., police said.
Circumstances leading up to the crash are not known, but police said the driver, a man, fled the scene.

Fox 29 reports that he was captured later on Friday night in Philadelphia.
The victim has not been identified publicly as police are still notifying their next of kin.
