IKEA Recalls High Chair With Fall Hazard

The furniture store is recalling a high chair sold in stores for the last five years.

announced in a release that it is recalling one of its products due to a defect that could potential create a falling hazard.

According to a release from the furniture store and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, IKEA is recalling its ANTILOP high chair after receiving reports that the product’s buckle restraints have opened unexpectedly and caused minor fall injuries.

Nearly 170,000 of the chairs have been sold nationwide, according to the statement.

Those who have purchased the chair are advised to stop using it immediately and contact IKEA for a replacement restraint.
