Legoland Is Coming To Plymouth Meeting: Report

Legos are coming to Montgomery County.

A new Legoland Discovery Center will open at the Plymouth Meeting Mall sometime in 2017, accordign to a report.

Construction will begin in the summer on the center which will include a cinema, Lego play areas, and a “Miniland” replica of Philadelphia made out of legos.

The mall’s owner, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT), is reportedly seeking to improve business at the mall.

The construction also comes as mall shopping takes a sharp downturn with the advent and ever-increasing popularity of online shopping.
