Man Arresting After Robbing Car In Plymouth: Cops

Police tracked the man who robbed a car in Plymouth to Philadelphia, police said.

PLYMOUTH, PA -- A man who robbed a car in Plymouth Township was arrested Wednesday in Philadelphia, according to police.

Richard Dixon, 27, of the 6900 block of Wister Street in Philadelphia, now faces charges of robbery of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, and related counts.

Dixon had stolen the Nissan Altima from Carland Street in Conshohocken, police said.

The Altima was originally reported found on the 6900 block of Wister Street. When police arrived they found the vehicle on the 1700 block of Wynsam Street.

Shortly thereafter, they arrested Dixon on the 7200 block of Woolston Street.

Dixon's bail was set at $50,000. He did not post and was remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

A preliminary hearing before District Judge Kathleen Rebar is set for Jan. 3.
