Man Created AI-Fakes Of Montco Officials, Families In KKK Robes: Feds

LAFAYETTE HILL, PA — A Montgomery County man stalked and harassed local government officials, a police officer, and their families online, using AI to create images of them in Ku Klux Klan robes, according to federal authorities.

Scott Testa, 60, of Lafayette Hill, has been charged with cyberstalking and related counts.

Starting in April 2026, Testa posted images on Reddit of one Whitpain Township public official in the KKK robes, with the name of his employer in the background, the US Attorney's Office said.

Testa then posted the names of the victim's children and an address which he believed to be the official's home address, according to authorities.

A second AI-altered image was posted shortly thereafter of another Whitpain official and his minor children, all with their faces exposed, officials said. Testa added messages directed at this victim, including "we are watching you," and "we are coming." All of them were wearing the KKK robes added by digital alteration.

"This does not get erased, it's forever," Testa wrote, according to authorities. "Your career and your family’s future is going to be pockmarked with you cowards...we are going to run you out of town.”

Testa's motivation for the harassment was not made immediately clear.

Testa faces up to 10 years in prison and three years probation, along with a $500,000 fine, if convicted.

He will remain in federal custody pending his trial before U.S. Magistrate Judge Scott W. Reid.
