Montco Woman Found Dead In Bedroom, Homicide Investigation Launched
Police are investigating a homicide after the body was found in the master bedroom Wednesday morning.
WYNDMOOR, PA — A woman was found dead in her bedroom in Wyndmoor on Wednesday morning, police announced, and a homicide investigation is now underway.
Springfield Township police were originally called to the 1000 block of Cromwell Lane at about 7:30 a.m. for a wellness check. There, they found 57-year-old Elizabeth Shea deceased in the master bedroom.
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy on Thursday.

The circumstances leading up to her death remain unclear, and no further details were released by authorities Wednesday afternoon.
