Murder Suspect Arrested After Body Found In Plymouth Twp.
A suspect in an April murder in Norristown was arrested Thursday. Wiretapping and cell phone analysis led authorities to the suspect.

A suspect in an April murder in Norristown was arrested Thursday, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
Chad Jonathan Beringer, 19, was arrested for the alleged killing of 30-year-old Keithon Majors, the DA said.
At about 8:52 p.m on April 6, 2015, Norristown Police responded to reports to shots fired near 1200 Locust Street, according to the DA.

When they arrived they found glass in the streets but no sign of anyone involved in the shootings, the DA said.
About 10 minutes later at 9:03 pm., a Plymouth Township police officer found the victim, Majors, inside a vehicle at the Lukoil service station on 603 Ridge Pike, according to the DA.

Majors was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m., the DA said.
Ballistic analysis, wiretapping, and forensic cell phone analysis were all used to determine Beringer’s involvement in the killing, according to the DA.
Beringer was sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and a hearing date of July 7, at 9 a.m., was set, the DA said.
Magisterial District Judge Margaret Hunsicker will be presiding, while Assistant District Attorneys Gabriel Magee and Jim Price will prosecute the case.
