Ominous Clouds Shorten Montco Graduation

Dark gray clouds swirled over Ambler on Monday evening as Upper Dublin High School went through its commencement ceremony.

Midway through graduation, officials turned an eye to the clouds above and decided to skip right to the end.

All 341 graduating students were called up to receive their diplomas, and most were safe again inside before the worst of the storm was unleashed.

Torrential rains, thunderstorms, even a tornado watch had much of the region battening down the hatches throughout Monday night.

The weather looks to be improving through the region, with sun and some clouds for the rest of the week, and no rain expected until Saturday.
