Montco Bank Robbed, Suspect Sought By FBI

Do you recognize this man? He is being sought by the FBI after the incident Wednesday morning.

PLYMOUTH, PA -- A man robbed a bank in Plymouth Meeting on Wednesday morning, the FBI said in a statement.

The incident occurred at about 9:05 a.m. at the Republic Bank branch on 423 West Germantown Pike, police said.

The suspect handed a demand note to the teller, was given an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled the scene on foot, police said.

He was last seen heading west toward Irwin Lane.

The subject is described as a Black male in his 40s to 50s, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, wearing eyeglasses. He had on a gray peacoat and cap, white shirt, jeans, and tan boots.

He should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
