Plymouth Meeting Citizens Bank to Stay Open

In mid-November, Citizen Bank of Philadelphia announced it would be closing nine branches in the Philadelphia region.

At the time of the initial announcement, Philly.com reported that of those nine branches, seven would be in southeastern Pennsylvania, one in southern New Jersey, and one in northern Delaware.

Philadelphia Business Journal is reporting that Citizens Bank has filed plans with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking to close or consolidate eight locations, and while it looks like the bank's is safe from the chopping block right now, the whole area didn't make it out.

The Citizens Bank branch at 1777 Sentry Park West in Blue Bell is slated to close.

There is nothing in the report regarding a time table for the closings.
