Plymouth Meeting Named 'Best Suburb For Families'

Plymouth-area residents that decided to raise a family nearby should be pretty happy.

Plymouth Meeting has been ranked 9th among the ”Best Suburbs for Families” in the greater Philadelphia area, according to real estate-listicle website Movato.

Criteria analyzed included the quality of schools, the safety of neighborhood streets, and the ranking of the homes for sale in the area by a Movato real estate expert.

Movato had the following to say about Plymouth Meeting:

Plymouth Meeting comes in ninth on our list of the most family friendly Philadelphia suburbs with one of the lowest crime rates of any place we ranked. Home buyers have a range of options, from modest ranch style homes to sprawling Colonials.

Active families will love hiking and family picnics in Harriet Wetherill Park. Residents also enjoy convenient shopping, casual dining, and a movie theater at Plymouth Meeting Mall.
