4 Charged In Plymouth Meeting Standoff: Police

Four Philadelphia men – ages 18, 22, and 31 – are now facing home invasion, burglary, and weapon charges, police said.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA – Four men are in custody after a standoff situation in Plymouth Meeting that began Monday morning, Pylmouth Police said.

Anthony Sabatino, 22, Anthony Thomas Ferliano, 31, Jason Hutton, 18, and Walter Mattis, 18, all of Philadelphia, were arrested Tuesday.

All four face home invasion, burglary, and weapon charges, in connection with the Tuesday incident, police said.

The incident unfolded Monday morning and first began with a report of people entering an occupied home on the 300 block of Cambridge Road at a bout 8:30 a.m.

Police responded to the area and began staging outside the home when they believed one of the people inside was armed.

The situation can to a close at about 11:30 a.m. when two of the men who reportedly entered the home surrendered to police, 6ABC reports.

Two others were apprehended earlier in the situation as they attempted to flee the home, CBS Philadelphia reports.

Both outlets report no one was injured in the incident and the resident living in the home was able to escape safely.
