Plymouth Officer Slain Remembered 3 Years Later
Bradley Michael Fox was tragically killed along the Schuylkill River Trail in 2012.

Three years ago, Plymouth Township lost one of its finest.
Officer Bradley Michael Fox was pursuing a suspect along the Schuylkill River Trail near Conshohocken and Ernest Station Roads on September 13, 2012, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page.
He was investigating an incident where a driver drove around traffic stopped at the scene of an accident. The vehicle, which was found to be stolen, also hit another car, the page states.

Eventually the driver got out and fled away along the trail, with Officer Fox in pursuit.
As Fox came up over a hill with his K9, Nick, the suspect ambushed them and opened fire, killing Fox and wounding Nick.

The suspect then shot himself twice in the chest, killing himself.
It was determined that the suspect was the mains suspect in the 1999 disappearance of his fiancee.
Fox, who had served on the force was seven years, was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife and young daughter.
