PLYMOUTH, PA -- A school district employee has pleaded guilty to corruption of minors at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, according to court documents.
Michael Evan Morse, 27, an audio visual technician, allegedly had sex with a 12th grade female student while he was employed there, a June 5 Whitemarsh Township Police report states.
An investigation of cellular telephone records revealed “substantial” communication between the two from December 2014 through June 2015, according to the Montgomery County DA.

Former DA Risa Vetri Ferman said the Colonial School District was crucial in uncovering the scandal.
“As soon as the school district became aware of the inappropriate behavior, the individual was placed on administrative leave and the information was referred to the local police,” she said. “The district cooperated fully with the investigation.”
Morse has resigned from his position with the school district.
He was sentenced to four years of probation and 24 hours of community service.
