Plymouth-Whitemarsh Students Compete For High School Art Show Honors

Local students from 25 high schools around the area are competing in the annual show.

JENKINTOWN, PA -- Winners of the high school "Touch the Future" art show will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday, April 3.

The winners of the juried show will come from 25 different high schools around the Montgomery County area.

They will be hand-selected by Director of Admissions of the Tyler School of Art, Nicole Hall.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Education Foundation, Mideastern Region and the Council for the Advancement of Public Schools will remain open through May 2nd during gallery hours.

The following categories are included in the show: Printmaking, Digital Photography, Drawing- Black & White, Jewelry/Metals, Traditional Silver Print, Color Drawing, Fiber Crafts, Digital Imaging/Computer Graphics, 3-D Functional, 2-D Mixed Media, Painting-Acrylic/Oil/ Watercolor, 3-D Single Medium Sculpture, 2-D Design (no digital), 3-D Mixed Media Sculpture
