IN SHORT
After working out the problems from games on Monday and Tuesday the Colonials came out dominant beginning with the first serve. With strong communication and a minimal amount of mistakes Plymouth-Whitemarsh easily took the first game from an inexperienced Norristown.  On the heels of the first game momentum, the Colonials took the second game in similar fashion.

The Eagles would not go down without a fight and the third game proved to be the closest between the two teams. Trading mental mistakes and hard fought volleys the Eagles were able to get a two point edge on the Colonials. But under the consistent serving of senior Elizabeth Keefer the Colonials pulled ahead to close the match out.

COLONIAL OF THE GAME
Elizabeth Keefer—
Sixteen service points, three aces, and two kills

With the Colonials up 13-11 in the third game Keefer helped Plymouth-Whitemarsh pull away with the lead, serving six straight points with three aces.

OTHER KEY PERFORMANCES
Anna Waltz, Waltz recorded 11 kills, seven of which were in the first game. Giovanna Jenkins, Jenkins recorded seven kills and 14 service points, four of which were aces. Jenkins served the final game winning ace.

THEY SAID IT
"We focused on a lot of the mistakes we made in Monday’s and Tuesday’s games and fixing them in practice. It was good to see that it showed in this game. We made a lot fewer mistakes."–Head coach Micheal Nguyen
