Portion of York Road Dedicated to Fallen Officer Brad Fox

By James Boyle A section of Route 263 in Warminster has been re-named the Officer Bradley Fox Memorial Highway.

Hundreds gathered Sunday at the Hartsville Fire Company station in Warminster to honor the ultimate sacrifice made by Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox.

On the day that Fox would have turned 37 years-old, State Representative Bernie O’Neill announced the official dedication of a section of Route 263 renamed after the officer, who was shot and killed two years ago while in pursuit of a hit and run suspect.

The portion of York Road between Street Road and Bristol Road is now known as the Officer Bradley Fox Memorial Highway. Fox grew up in Warminster and graduated from William Tennent High School. He played ice hockey for the Panthers, practicing and competing at the Bucks County Ice Sports Center, which is located on the same stretch of highway now bearing his name.
