PSSA Reading Scores for the Colonial School District
89 percent of high school students tested had "proficient or above" reading skills

The 2010-2011 Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) results show that 89 percent of tested high school students measure with "advanced" or “proficient” reading skills, according to the recently released test results from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The PSSA, which measures how well students have achieved in reading, mathematics, science and writing according to the DEP, found that every district school, except for Conshohocken Elementary, had more than half of tested students categorized as “advanced” reading skills.
Check the table below to see how the area's schools scored in reading on the PSSA. Check back tomorrow for the district's science and writting scores.
