As Plymouth-Whitemarsh continues to be a popular destination for families in our region, there is a significant shortage of available homes for prospective buyers. I’m a local Realtor and Whitemarsh resident, and I can tell you with complete certainty that houses that list for sale this spring are selling very quickly, often in under 15 days and often with multiple offers.

So far, in 2015 for Plymouth and Whitemarsh townships, the majority of single family homes (65%) have sold in the $200-400,000 range. 12% of sold homes went for $400-600,000, while the remaining sales were split between the low (under $200k) and high ($700k-1.5mill) price ranges. As for how long it takes to sell a house, the median days on the market for all pending sales is 12 days, not a bad number for sellers in a hurry!
