Sun., May 20: Plymouth Swim Club Open House

Representatives of the Plymouth Swim Club, located at 1724 Gallagher Road in Plymouth Township, wrote to Patch to let us know about their annual open house, coming up on Saturday, May 20th from 1 to 3 p.m.

The open house will include tours of the facility as well as a chance to register for the Gators youth swim team. A representative of the facility's Summer Fun Camp will also be available to answer questions.

The privately owned swim club has been in existence in some form since 1961. The current 12-acre lot contains three pools, four tennis courts, a basketball court, baseball diamond, vollyball courts, childrens playground and a picnic grove with outdoor grilles and benches.

Approximately 450 families belong to the pool, according to its website.
