Some of the season’s coldest temperatures are on their way to the Northeast and will impact the Philadelphia region, according to forecasters.

On Tuesday, temperatures will dip below freezing with a high of 30 expected in the Philadelphia region. There is a chance of some light snow that day, with the Weather Channel predicting accumulation of about an inch in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

Wednesday and Thursday is when you’ll really want to bundle up. Wednesday’s high is expected to be in the mid-20s; Thursday’s high is likely going to hover around 20 degrees, according to the Weather Channel.
According to the National Weather Service, which has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region, the combination of brisk winds and “very cold” temperatures will produce wind chills near or below zero on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

By the end of the week into the weekend, temperatures should creep up to the low 30s, according to the Weather Channel.
