Second Half of Shakespeare Performance coming to Plymouth Meeting

A third installment of the London Globe Cinema Series is bringing 'Henry IV Part 2' to Plymouth Meeting.

Shakespeare’s Globe London Cinema Series, a four-part stage-to-cinema presentation by NCM Fathom, Globe Theatre and Arts Alliance Media that brings some of the writer's best-known plays to movie theatres across the country, is showing a production of Henry IV Part 2 starring Roger Allam at on Thursday according to a release.

The four plays in the series were recorded in 2010 from the Globe Theatre in London— Shakespeare’s theatrical London home.  Each performance will also include a 20-minute behind-the-scenes feature, providing insights into the working of the Globe today and a study of each production, as well as interviews with the actors and creative team involved, the release states.

The play stars Roger Allam, who won the 2011 Olivier Award for Best Actor for his role as Sir John Falstaff.  The cast also includes Oliver Cotton as King Henry IV, Sam Crane as Hotspur and Jamie Parker as Prince Hal.

The play will be broadcast at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tickets can be purchased at the box office and online at www.FathomEvents.com.
