Softball: Plymouth-Whitemarsh Downs Upper Dublin, 9-0

The Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School softball team defeated Upper Dublin 9-0 in Fort Washington Wednesday.

The Colonials used a consistent offense, scoring in each inning except for the final seventh, to down their league foes. Pitcher Nicole Winterbottom kept the Cardinals at bay, allowing just four hits and striking out four while walking seven.

Kristin Ganderton took the loss for the Upper Dublin, allowing six runs in four innings while striking out one and walking seven. Susan Janfransisco went 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs and two doubles.

Upper Dublin's Rachel Hyman was 2 for 4 with a double.
