Numerous incidents reported during morning storm.

The morning thunderstorm has caused numerous incidents requiring emergency response in Plymouth Township and Conshohocken Borough.

Lighting struck an electrical box at Sandwood Road and Colwell Lane in Conshohocken at approximately 10:31 a.m., and responding fire police have blocked off the area, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety. No injuries were reported, and it is unknown whether or not the strike caused any power outages.

Emergency responders have also closed Colwell Lane between 5th and Elm Streets because of flooding there, officials said. Both lanes of travel were closed as of 10:42 a.m.

In addition, a disabled vehicle was reported at Ridge Pike and Industrial Way, although the incident appears to have been cleared as of 10:45 a.m.
