Thief Makes Off With 4 Vacuums From Plymouth Twp. Best Buy: Cops

The man was able to carry four vacuums out of the store without paying for them and without being caught, police said.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — A man carried four vacuums out of a local Best Buy without paying for them and escaped, police said.

The incident occurred on Jan. 3 at the Best Buy on 2010 Chemical Road in Plymouth Township, police said on Monday.

The suspect, Fareed Thompson, 29, fled the scene in a green SUV with an obscured license plate.

Police were able to identify Thompson because he is a subject in similar investigations in the local area.

A warrant is out for his arrest. He faces charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.
