The 2.71-acre parcel is located in the Plymouth Meeting Historic District and is adjacent to the Abolition Hall property. The Township entered into an agreement of sale to purchase the Abolition Hall property in April.
The property has a single-family home on it that is now vacant and in disrepair. The ordinance would authorize the acquisition for $810,000. The Township would use Act 153 Open Space funds for the purchase.
