Saturday is national Drug Take Back Day meaning unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications can once again be dropped off at the Police Department between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Medications can be left in the collection box in the lobby of the Police Department. The following items are accepted:
· prescription tablets and capsules

· over-the-counter tablets and capsules
· inhalers
· creams and ointments
· pet medications
Intravenous and injectable solutions and needles will not be accepted.
