Fall Shredding Day resulted in more than 8 tons of recycling material being collected while raising $700 for Spring Mill Fire Company from donations from participants.

About 250 vehicles came to Miles Park to drop off documents for shredding. The 16,500 pounds collected has the environmental impact of saving 140 trees, 33,000 kWh of energy, 24.75 cu. yds of landfill space, and 57,750 gallons of water.
