Township Of Whitemarsh: Strong Storm Leaves Roads Closed And Power Outages

This afternoon's storm has caused multiple road closures throughout the Township. Please use caution if you are traveling. Do not go near downed power lines. 

Affected roads include: Morris Road, Sheaff Lane, Butler Pike south of Stenton Avenue, Stenton Avenue at Militia Hill Road, Iron Bridge Road, Bethlehem Pike between Church Road and Farmer Road, and Skipjack Road between Butler Pike and Joshua Road.

Please call 911 to report an emergency. Call Whitemarsh Police Dispatch at 610-825-6530 for non-emergencies. 

As of 7 p.m., PECO was reporting that about 20 percent of the Township was without power. To report an outage, click here or call 1-800-841-4141.
