 Snow Removal

The Highway Department has prepared for the storm by brining roads.

As a reminder, off-street parking is required once plowing begins. Residents and businesses without sufficient off-street parking are required to park on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses since 2021 is an odd-number year.

Many roads in the Township, such as Germantown Pike, Joshua Road, Ridge Pike, North Lane, Cedar Grove Road, Skippack Pike, Bethlehem Pike, Pennsylvania Avenue, Stenton Avenue, Flourtown Road, Militia Hill Road and Butler Pike are owned and maintained by PennDOT or Montgomery County.

Winter Storm Tips

  • Only drive if necessary during the storm. If you are driving, please leave 100 feet between your car and any plow.
  • Please want until plows clear your street to shovel your driveway opening. This will help prevent your driveway from being plowed in.
  • Please remove trash cans from streets so plows can plow to the curb.
  • Please clear fire hydrants near your property and make sure your mailbox can be reached.
  • Call 911 to report any emergency during the storm.
  • Call PECO at 1-800-841-4141 to report a power outage or go online. Do not assume someone else has reported an outage. Do not call the Police Department to report an outage. Click here for PECO's outage website.
  • Please keep your portable devices and electronics charged.
