Vehicle Catches On Fire After Ridge Pike Crash In Whitemarsh

WHITEMARSH, PA — A vehicle in Whitemarsh caught fire after an accident on Ridge Pike on Thursday morning, according to authorities.

The incident occurred at around 11:12 a.m. near the intersection with Butler Pike, according to Montco PA Active Incidents.

It's not yet clear what led to the crash, but at least one person was injured.

Whitemarsh Ambulance, Centre Square Fire Company, and Barren Hill Fire Company are among the crews responding to the scene.

Motorists should exercise caution in the area and consider alternative routes.
