Victim Of Fatal East Norriton Crash Identified By Coroner

The 29-year-old pedestrian killed Sunday night has been identified by authorities as new information emerged.

EAST NORRITON, PA — The 29-year-old pedestrian killed by a vehicle Sunday night in East Norriton has been identified by authorities as Ricardo Baptiste.

The Montgomery County Coroner's Office classified Baptiste's death as an accident.

The incident occurred at around 9:10 p.m. near the intersection of West Germantown Pike and Whitehall Road.

Baptiste had left a nearby hospital shortly before being struck, according to authorities.

Police also disclosed that two vehicles struck Baptiste.

Investigators are still trying to determine if alcohol impairment "was a contributing factor," police said.
