Why the 10 Day Forecast Will Make You Happy

After weeks of bad news in the weather department, we’re here to lift your spirits: a meteorological pattern shift will result in a lengthy reprieve from the recent frigid temperatures.

The 10-day forecast for the suburban Philadelphia region includes six consecutive days of temperatures 40 degrees and above.

But don’t put those earmuffs on the shelf just yet.

The chilly temperatures will linger through mid-week, with a high of just 27 degrees expected Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures in the region should be in the mid 30s, the Weather Channel predicts.

Friday is when you’ll likely notice the milder weather, as a pattern shift brings warmer air and temperatures in the 40s through the weekend and early next week.

Wednesday: Cloudy; high 32, low 21

Thursday: Partly cloudy; high 36, low 24

Friday: Sunny; high 40, low 21

Saturday: Sunny; high 43, low 29
