Chaos At Plymouth Twp. Store As Woman Points Gun At Customers: Police

Customers in the Metroplex store hid and fled as the woman leveled the firearm directly at them, police said.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman sparked chaos after pointing a gun at the heads of customers in a store in Montgomery County over the weekend, according to authorities and media reports.

The incident occurred on Nov. 2. in the afternoon at the Guitar Center Store in Plymouth Township's Metroplex.

It is not clear why the woman was pointing the firearm.

Some customers hid in the store while others fled. The woman was "screaming incoherently" throughout the incident, police said.

When officers arrived, the woman initially refused to put the gun down and even pointed it at police, authorities said.

Eventually, she put the weapon down and was arrested without further incident.

She has not been publicly identified by authorities, nor have charges yet been announced.
