• Bald Eagle Creek restoration project completed (statecollege.com) — A major Bald Eagle Creek restoration just downstream of Port Matilda has stabilized 1,600 feet of eroding streambank, improving water quality and fish habitat right in your backyard. Backed by state, county, and federal partners, the project is expected to keep more than 160 tons of sediment out of the creek each year, with ongoing monitoring to ensure long-term stream health.
